Package details include:

Experience Southern charm and hospitality on a women-only getaway to Savannah and Charleston. These two magnificent cities are icons of the Old South, and they still retain their historic elegance, grace and charm.

But you needn’t “rely on the kindness of strangers” to discover each city’s treasures. Starting with Savannah’s private gardens, your local guide leads you through private tours in both cities including a Red Trolley tour of old Savannah, a walking tour of the pre-Civil War village of Beaufort, and an antiques tour in Charleston. Go behind the ropes at Middleton Place, a National Historic Landmark that survived both the Revolutionary and Civil wars, where you’ll view artifacts of plantation life that the public rarely sees.

Foodies will love the culinary walking tour of Charleston that ends with a cooking lesson in low-country classics such as gumbo and pralines. And in Savannah, enjoy lunch at the famous Lady and Sons Restaurant owned by Paula Deen. A wonderful buffet will include some of Paula Deen’s favorite classic southern dishes prepared in the way that has made her famous.

The reminders of an older era are echoed by your accommodations. Located in Savannah's historic district, the AAA rated Three-Diamond Mulberry Inn dates back to the 1860s when it served as a cotton warehouse. In the early 1900s, the site became the second Coca-Cola Bottling Company in the U.S. and is now a splendid award-winning hotel. Charleston's AAA rated Three-Diamond Mills House Hotel is a Conde' Nast Traveler Gold List Hotel, and has retained its Victorian charm through careful restoration. The hotel's elegance comes alive with the antique crystal chandeliers, high parlors, and wonderful southern hospitality.
